Pastel. Nadeau is inspired and a passionate painter of life, balancing powerful color and generous texture with classical form. Vibrant paintings are in permanent collections at the Cahoon Museum, CCMoA, and PAAM, and in corporate and private collections nation wide. She is published in several books and periodicals and graces the cover of Painting Shapes and Edges. She earned prestigious signature memberships in Pastel Society of America, Maryland Pastel Society, Connecticut Pastel Society, and she founded Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod and Cape Cod Plein Air Painters. She is an original member of 21 in Truro. Awarded Master Artist status at CCAC, she participates in shows at Cape venues. Retired from teaching, she sometimes demonstrates her approach and enjoys weekly portrait practice.
