Oil on canvas. Rebecca Gmucs is finally, happily living in the Outer Cape, of Cape Cod Mass She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, post grad work at Pratt, FIT and Art Students League of New York, and Rockland Center for the Arts. She loves oil paint and loves working wet on wet for landscapes, loving the ability to move the paint around, explore the texture of the paint itself. Her landscapes are deceptively simple, focused on the beauty of the land. Rebecca's work is in private collections here and abroad. She currently shows at Larkin Gallery in Provincetown, MA. She is an awarded Juried member of Cape Cod Art Center. She has shown at PAAM in juried shows as well as sites in Brooklyn, NY and with NAWA in Manhattan and Boston.
