Steel, lacquer.
Rachel Paolino works primarily in steel to create unique pieces full of contrast. Growing up in Providence, RI and now living on Cape Cod, the prominence of the ocean and its underworld has permeated into the theme of her work. She gains a gratifying sense of power by manipulating metal.
Rachel received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island College. She has since been featured in Cape Cod Home magazine and her work is in several private collections.
