He studied art at Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA. & NC State University, where he studied Art History. Michael was awarded by the Cape Cod Museum of Art: "2023 MUSE ARTIST AWARD for Outstanding Achievement and Service to the Cape Cod Community". "Access to My Imagination" an exhibition of Michael's art was at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Dennis, MA January-March 2025.Teaches at the Weny Art Center at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill, Creative Arts Center, Chatham and Falmouth Art Center.
