A self-taught artist from Yarmouth Port MA and Cushing ME, Marieluise Hutchinson paints subjects of "roads less traveled." A deep respect and sensitivity for the commonplace is evident as she records the passage of time of vanishing homesteads, fields and farmlands of rural America.
Marieluise is a Copley Master at the Copley Society of Boston and a Master Artist at the Cape Cod Art Center. She is also in the permanent collection of the Cahoon Museum of American Art and at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. New England is her inspiration and Sandy Neck Light is a favorite subject.
