Jackie deRuyter is a sculptural artist living and working in Brewster, MA. She works primarily in fiber but often incorporates mixed media into her work.
Prior to her life in the studio she was trained and worked as a scientist, studying and teaching cell biology both in Connecticut and on Cape Cod. When not in her studio, Jackie spends time with her husband, Ben, and three children. She is also an avid runner and pianist.
