Oil and cold wax on canvas. Denise Zompa paints colorful, contemporary landscapes. Her paintings of the ocean, shoreline and marshes are quiet uninhabited landscapes. Denise holds a BA in Art and Elementary Education from University of Rhode Island and an MA in Education from Rhode Island College. She maintained a studio at Tiverton Four Corners, Tiverton, RI for several years and participated in South Coast Open Studios for more than 12 years. She has recently moved to Cotuit, MA.
